    Details: Disability Power Day – October Agenda 
      • Date: October 13th
      • Where: Merriam Park Library 1831 Marshall Ave, St Paul, MN 55104
      • Time: 10:30am-3:00pm
      • Morning session, 10:30am start: Personal Empowerment lead by Ally People Solutions
      • Lunch, noon start: FREE and DELICIOUS – world cafe style conversations – this is also the time to come if only attending afternoon or leave if only attending the morning 
      • Afternoon session, 1:30pm start: Poetry writing with Cow Tipping Press
      • Cost: No Charge. Donations welcome.

Details: Fall 2017 Rehearsal Schedule 
  • Date: First Friday of each month, following the Friday Sept 8th start (Oct 6, Nov 3, Dec 1)
  • Where: Macalester Plymouth Church (1658 Lincoln Avenue, St Paul, MN 55105)
  • Time: Free Dinner 6:00pm-6:30pm , 6:45pm-8:15pm singing
  • Performance: tbd
  • Required Commitment: Be at all rehearsals.
  • Cost: No Charge. Donations welcome.

Attend ACT Board Meetings

  • For Self-Advocates who are already on ACT’s board, already ACT members, or are just interested in learning more about ACT and getting know the board
  • Meetings include official ACT business which is voted on by the board, as well as self-advocacy games and lessons
  • Meetings take place the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the ACT office

Are you interested in learning more about whats happening at the big picture level around disability rights? Join an ACT staff member and represent the interests of self-advocates.

  • Attend transportation workgroup meetings

  • Attend policy or grassroots committee meetings
