Explore Prepare Act is for people who are considering working in the community. Participatory exercises help people see the barriers to a community job, ways to overcome those barriers and ways to get help if they are interested. Participants are presented with information in an interactive, conversational way allowing them to:

• Gain a better understanding of the types of jobs they should look for based on their interests and skills
• Understand the process and identify steps to gain employment in the community
• Share fears about working in the community and know they are not alone

The program consists of three half-day sessions with time between each for practicing new skills. Participants leave with a plan on how they can go about getting a job in the community. No charge to participants or organizations.
