Disability Power Day

The monthly Disability Power Day brings people with disabilities together around self-advocacy, leadership development and specific issues facing the disability community. Disability Power Day features a morning session, a social lunch, and an afternoon activity. Each month has new sessions lead by experts in that area but every month follows the same daily schedule.

PRIDE

Disability Power Day came about from feedback following the 2017 Minnesota State Self-Advocacy Conference. Attendees loved the opportunity to meet people from other self-advocacy groups and they loved the workshops. People loved it so much we decided to launch a monthly mini conference which we call Disability Power Day. Click on our GET INVOLVED tab to view details on this month’s morning session and afternoon activity.
